Katerina Scholz is a professional Bridal Specialist in hair and makeup, based in the Smoky Mountains, specializing in weddings, destination events, photoshoots, fashion shows, and special occasions. With more than 20 years of experience, she is known for creating timeless, elegant looks that feel polished, natural, and true to the woman wearing them.
Originally from Russia, Katerina moved to the United States in 2007 and began her career in Baltimore, Maryland, where a chance opportunity at a boutique salon grew into nearly a decade of experience behind the chair. After moving to Tennessee with her family, she stepped away from salon life to raise her daughter before returning to beauty through bridal hair and makeup.
What began in 2020 as a small weekend business quickly grew through referrals and word of mouth into a thriving bridal beauty business serving couples traveling to the Smoky Mountains from across the country. Today, Katerina is sought out by brides who value experience, a personal approach, and a calm presence on the wedding day.
She takes the time to understand each bride’s dress, setting, inspiration, and how she wants to feel. The goal is never to make someone look like a different person, but to create a refined version of herself: beautiful in person, beautiful in photographs, and still unmistakably her.
Even after two decades in the industry, Katerina continues to refine her craft, balancing new techniques with the timeless approach that defines her work.
